iOS 18 upcoming features
Talking about some of the main upcoming features of iOS 18, the upcoming OS introduces a lot of customization options, which can include a new way to organize apps and widgets on the home screen, lock screen, and Control Center. You can now freely place icons and widgets in any open space, even above the dock, and can also introduce visual effects like dark or tinted themes to personalize your look.
The Photos app has also been significantly redesigned to integrate the photo library into a single view, adding new collections and a carousel view highlighting daily favorites in full. The new Control Center can bring quick access to frequently used controls and also allow third-party app integration.
Satellite messaging in the Messages app can ensure connectivity without cellular or Wi-Fi, and iMessage enhancements include new text effects, formatting options, and message scheduling. One cool feature is Apple Intelligence, which can integrate generative models with personal context to make tasks like language understanding and image generation much better, delivering a highly relevant and useful user experience. iOS 18 arrives at WWDC 2024: Check here to know if your iPhone will get it or not plus rollout schedule.
